Holiday Season Updates, December 2024:

'Tis the season for friends and family! That is why our shipping and warehouse teams are enjoying an extended break this holiday period. All orders placed after COB Wednesday, December 20th will be fulfilled after our teams return to the office on January 2nd, 2024.

We wish you and your loved ones all the best for 2024, and appreciate your understanding for the short delay in shipping your new products.

Shipment & Delivery Updates, January 2023:

We are continuously reviewing our shipping and delivery capabilities for across all of Canada. However, due to the ongoing global supply chain and shipment challenges, we are sometimes limited in either timing or capability to ship a particular product to particularly difficult regions. Rest assured that each and every order is manually reviewed by our team before the sale is completed, and, should we expect any difficulties with a shipment, we will contact you directly to discuss the options.

Additionally, we have recently expanded our shipping options for large and mid-sized units. More details can be found below.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work with our partner network to navigate these particularly challenging supply chain and shipping periods.

Delivery & Shipment Options:

Due to the variability in sizes and weights of our products, we have multiple shipment options available depending on the item(s) ordered.

IMPORTANT: no matter the delivery method, please inspect your product and the packaging thoroughly BEFORE signing and accepting delivery of a product from a shipment provider. Failure to do so may limit the compensation or support BPH Sales can provide for units damaged during shipment.

For small items, such as controllers or thermostats, rates are calculated at the time of checkout. Most times small items will be shipped directly to your delivery address via national carriers or 3rd-party couriers.

For mid-sized and large items, two options are typically offered at the time of checkout as well as the applicable rates:

  1. Terminal Pick-up will require the purchaser to arrange the transport of the ordered item(s) from one of our partner terminals to the final destination. With each terminal pick-up, we will confirm the pick-up terminal location with you via e-mail and/or phone prior to sending out the shipment. If there is no reasonably located partner terminal, we will also discuss other options available with you. This may include the option for a full refund without charge.

Note that for some mid-sized items, such as ERVs or HRVs, we are sometimes able to arrange delivery directly to your address through our partner network. We will confirm if this is the case via the shipping information we send to you.

  1. Local Delivery will include delivery to the shipping address provided at the time of checkout. The ordered item(s) will be shipped via one of our LTL freight partners, and the freight company will contact you to arrange for delivery. With this shipment option, it is very important that you stay up-to-date with your shipment status and check your phone and e-mail regularly. Most local deliveries will either require an appointment time with the freight company, or they will notify you in advance of the attempted delivery. If you cannot arrange to accept the delivery, or miss your delivery appointment, any excess charges will be at your own expense.

Please note that Local Delivery DOES NOT include movement of the ordered item(s) into your home, shop, garage, etc. Local Delivery will only include the removal of the ordered item(s) from the freight truck to your sidewalk/driveway and not further. So please ensure you have a means to move the delivered items into your home or storage. We recommend that for large items that you have a pallet jack or forklift available. Any damages incurred after the removal of the ordered item(s) from the freight truck is at your own expense, so please be prepared and be careful handling all our products.

Shipment Times:

We aim to have your product delivered to the nearest pickup depot, post office, or your doorstep where possible within 10 business days; please note delivery time frames can vary, depending on shipment distances and regional delivery challenges. These times are our intentions, and we will do our best to deliver as soon as we can, but in some circumstances delays may be encountered due to weather or other unforeseen situations. Via the provided shipment tracking information, we will keep you up to date on the delivery status throughout the entire process.

If you have not received your product within 28 calendar days from the date of delivery indicated on the provided invoice due to delays during shipping, you can opt to cancel your order and receive a full refund of your purchase and shipping costs. This cancellation option is not applicable if the delivery company has either attempted to deliver the order to your address unsuccessfully or if they have attempted to contact you, via phone or e-mail, to arrange a delivery appointment prior to the lapse of the 28 calendar days.

Delivery Times:

Local deliveries are typically made Monday to Friday between 07:30 & 19:30 local time, but will vary depending on the exact carrier. Terminal or depot pick-up hours will vary depending on location and carrier; please confirm with the local delivery depot or terminal directly to arrange for your pick-up.

Additional Information:

We make every effort to ship all items as ordered online, but there may be instances where this is not possible due to inventory or shipping related challenges. If we foresee any issues with your placed order, we will contact you directly to discuss a way forward.

BPH Mechanical Sales Ltd. reserves the right to adjust or increase shipping prices. We do our best to ensure the shipping quote as provided during the initial checkout process is correct, but there may be instances where this is not correctly calculated by the system. If this is the case, we reserve the right to increase the shipping costs and notify you, the purchaser, of the increased shipping costs. The customer will be provided with the option to then cancel the order without any incurred costs if they do not want to proceed.
