Bosch Greenstar Boilers for High-efficiency Hydronic Solutions
Bosch Greenstar Boilers are high-efficiency boilers using natural gas or propane combustion. These condensing gas boilers are available in wall-mounted or floor-standing models, and are available in 4 sizes ranging from 79,000 BTU/hr up to 151,000 BTU/hr.
Bosch Condensing Technology Further Improves Efficiency
Bosch gas condensing tankless water heaters and boilers are leading-edge, ultra-efficient systems. One of the key distinguishing items is that Bosch units feature high-tech condensing units. The condensing unit works by capturing latent condensation heat from the burner exhaust gases, and then uses this captured latent energy to pre-heat the incoming water supply! Since the incoming water supply is now warmer than it was initially, it takes less energy to heat the water supply to the final output setpoint temperature!
This technology makes Bosch condensing water heaters up to 15% more efficient than traditional tankless, on-demand, unlimited domestic hot water (DHW) system!
