Samsung WindFree™* 3.0 Wall-mounted Mini-Split Ductless Indoor Units
Samsung HVAC’s WindFree™* 3.0 mini split heat pump units are innovative ductless heat pump indoor units that can provide a comfortable climate year-round without the discomforts of a direct cold air flow when cooling your home. This is a solution unique to Samsung Wind-Free 3.0 systems! WindFree™* Cooling technology maintains the desired temperature in your home and eliminates cold drafts and reduces energy use by delivering air through micro holes on the indoor unit to produce a dispersed and gentle flow of air defined as "still air." With a Seer rating of up to 24.5 this unit is cold climate rated!
All models of the Wind-Free 3.0 units are compatible with the Samsung FJM and Samsung Max Heat FJM multi-zone mini-split heat pumps.

Heating and cooling in a single system
- Efficient operation with Motion Detection Sensor (MDS) will save you money on heating and cooling bills. Users can choose between direct airflow, to have air follow the user around the room, or indirect airflow, where the user can have the air blow away from them in the room. When the MDS recognizes that there are no occupants in the space, the system will automatically implement energy saving measures to reduce energy use.
- Variable speed, Digital Inverter compressor delivers only as much heating or cooling as is required
- Freeze Wash quickly frosts the air side of the indoor unit heat exchanger, defrosts the ice, and then dries the coil washing away dirt and dust.
- Worry-free installation with a Smart Install self-diagnosing feature that checks for faults, poor refrigerant flows, or other system considerations to ensure a proper install
- Delivered with remote control with functionality including:
- On/off option
- Fan speed control
- Temperature settings
- Wind direction control
- Scheduling
- Good sleep mode
- Standard with built-in WiFi capability for remote temperature and setting adjustments via the SmartThings Android, iOS apps, and voice control via Bixby 2.0
- Comes standard with a re-usable, washable filter
